Demetrius Butler
Demetrius Butler has over 15 years of experience in teaching and tutoring students of all ages and levels. His specialties are mathematics and sciences. From Memphis, Tennessee, Demetrius earned a scholarship to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, majoring in Mathematics for Mechanical Engineering.
He gravitated toward teaching, regularly hosting groups where classmates came to get what they needed. Demetrius' real passion for igniting the confidence in others was illuminated here. He went on to work for years, in Memphis, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, as an educational tutor, and speaker.
"I love seeing 'the lights go on'! I want to make a true difference for students. The success, or the growth, of my students is due to their experience. Students are freed up to perform in a way that actualizes their dreams when they experience those dreams as worthwhile. I focus on students' rapport with their studies; and through that focus, we see miraculous, long-lasting improvement, no matter where they start."
As well as being a teacher and tutor, Demetrius is also an education speaker, trained actor, and author. He is involved in healing circles and devoted to personal and community health.
